Graduated Repayment is a loan repayment option that requires lower monthly payments at the beginning of repayment and gradually increases payments in one or more graduated increments during the repayment period.

For the purposes of this calculator, "2 Step" begins with payments of interest only for the first two years, followed by interest and principal for the balance of the loan term. "3 Step" begins with payments of interest only for the first two years, followed by three years of payments of interest only and partial principal, then concluding with payments of interest and principal for the balance of the loan term.
