Christopher P. Chapman
President and Chief Executive Officer

 

Christopher P. Chapman is Access Group’s President and Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for the company’s strategic direction and oversees all of its activities.

Before becoming President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2008, Mr. Chapman served as the president and CEO of ALL Student Loan, a California-based nonprofit student loan provider since 2001. Earlier, Christopher served as vice president of Student Loan Funding Resources, a student loan originator and secondary market, and as a director of its joint venture loan servicing company, Intuition Holdings, Inc.

From 1999 – 2000, Christopher was a senior attorney with the law firm Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, working in their corporate, public finance and higher education practice areas, and providing general corporate and governmental affairs counsel to both nonprofit and for-profit entities. He received his bachelor’s degree from Xavier University and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

John F. Kolla, Sr.
Executive Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer

John F. Kolla, Sr. is an Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for Access Group’s accounting, financing, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, investor reporting and risk management functions, as well as overseeing the investment portfolio.

He has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years, including 16 years in consumer credit. Prior to joining Access Group in 2002, Mr. Kolla held Vice President and Director level titles at PNC Bank, Liggett Group and Oxford Finance Corporation. He graduated with honors from Temple University with a B.B.A. in accounting, and also holds an M.B.A. in finance from LaSalle University. Mr. Kolla is a Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of CPA’s.


Vivian G. Bowden Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer


Vivian G. Bowden is Access Group’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Her responsibilities include overseeing all Access Group market-facing initiatives including corporate strategic planning, marketing, communications, school services and sales. In her previous position, she led the organization’s sales team, who is responsible for cultivating and enhancing client relations; introducing Access Group’s products and services; and supporting Access Group’s school services toll-free phone line. Ms. Bowden has also served as the assistant dean for external relations at Widener University School of Law. During her seven-year tenure at Widener, she managed the alumni/development, publications and student services operations.

She received a J.D. from Widener University School of Law and a B.A. in economics with minors in English and business administration from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Ms. Bowden is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar.
