About Access Group

Christopher P. Chapman is Access Group’s president and chief executive officer. He is responsible for the company’s strategic direction and oversees all of its activities.

Before becoming president and chief executive officer in January 2008, Mr. Chapman served as the president and CEO of ALL Student Loan, a California-based nonprofit student loan provider since 2001. Earlier, Christopher served as vice president of Student Loan Funding Resources, a student loan originator and secondary market, and as a director of its joint venture loan servicing company, Intuition Holdings, Inc.

From 1999 – 2000, Christopher was a senior attorney with the law firm Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, working in their corporate, public finance and higher education practice areas, and providing general corporate and governmental affairs counsel to both nonprofit and for-profit entities. He received his bachelor’s degree from Xavier University and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

Vivian G. Bowden is Access Group’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Her responsibilities include overseeing all Access Group market-facing initiatives including corporate strategic planning, marketing, communications, school services and sales. In her previous position, she led the organization’s sales team, who is responsible for cultivating and enhancing client relations; introducing Access Group’s products and services; and supporting Access Group’s school services toll-free phone line. Ms. Bowden has also served as the assistant dean for external relations at Widener University School of Law. During her seven-year tenure at Widener, she managed the alumni/development, publications and student services operations.

She received a B.A. in economics with minors in English and business administration from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a J.D. from Widener University School of Law. Ms. Bowden is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar.

Gregory W. Shishko is the most recent member of the Access Group executive leadership team. Mr. Shishko brings a wealth of experience to the company from his 30 years of work in the financial services field. Prior to joining Access Group, Mr. Shishko was a highly regarded financial services consultant with the Gerson Lehrman Group in New York. He has also served as chief financial officer of MBNA and Bank of America’s U.S. Credit Card and Consumer Lending businesses, chief financial officer of Chase Merchant Services, and held senior level finance positions in Citibank’s Cards - Europe North America Division. Gregory earned his B.S. in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

David J. Clark is Access Group’s senior vice president and corporate counsel. In his current position, he is responsible for the company’s Legal, Audit and Compliance Departments, which handle the organization’s dispute management, contracts, compliance and audit areas. David earned a B.A. from the University of Delaware and a J.D. from Widener University.

Frank DeLuca is Access Group’s senior vice president and head of corporate information technology. As such, he is responsible for the overall strategic direction and daily operations of the company’s technology, including application development, infrastructure, information security, architecture, quality and project management. Prior to joining Access Group, Frank served as senior vice president of information technology for American Business Financial Services. He also served as senior director, client services for SunGard Recovery Services and as vice president, technology, for Continental Bank in Philadelphia. Frank earned a B.S. in Management/Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University.

Jean M. Francois, Access Group's senior vice president of loan operations, began her tenure with Law School Admission Services, Inc. in 1989 and has been with Access Group since its organization. She is currently responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of the Loan Operations Division. She oversees all loan processing operations including origination and disbursement, customer call center operations, loan servicing, quality and training, reconciliation, collections, recovery, loan operation compliance and operation support services. She has 20 years management experience with the Access Group program. She holds a B.A. degree in Psychology.
